Company to Provide Insight on Advanced Pattern Recognition for Combustion Turbine Operators

CHICAGO, IL, March 19, 2014 (Press-News.org) As power generation companies across the globe continue to focus on reducing maintenance costs and operational risks while increasing reliability, InStep Software representatives will share insight and best practices for asset performance management at the Spring 2014 Combustion Turbine Operations Technical Forum (CTOTF) Conference & Trade Show.

The event takes place April 6-10, 2014, in West Palm Beach, Fla. at the PGA National Resort, and is designed to increase attendees' knowledge of all aspects of turbine plant power production and supporting systems. InStep's Manager of Analytical Services, Mike Reed, will present on "Integrating Predictive Analytics into Combustion Turbine O&M Practices" at 8:05 a.m., Thursday, April 10 during the Gen-EI&C (HV-Electrical & Instrumentation and Controls) Roundtable. Reed has more than 20 years of extensive hands-on experience in engineering design, construction, commissioning and operations and will discuss how advanced pattern recognition aids plant O&M personnel in their decision-making strategies as an integral aspect of predictive maintenance practices.
