VERMILLION, SD, March 26, 2014 (Press-News.org) Leading father and son dental team, Dr. Richard Knutson and Dr. Matt Knutson are pleased to announce the addition of CEREC same day crowns in their Vermillion dental practice to enhance the patient experience. Patients can now receive treatment for porcelain same day crowns in one, simple visit at Knutson Family Dentistry. With this advanced procedure, Dr. Knutson and Dr. Matt can help restore their patients' teeth without the wait.
Patients can visit the office of Knutson Family Dentistry to experience new advancements in dental technology offered for a variety of procedures. CEREC same day crowns in Vermillion has made restoration easier by allowing crowns to be applied in one simple visit. Using computer aided technology these Vermillion general dentists can now take a picture of a patient's tooth before and during evaluation. No longer is a temporary crown needed between procedures.
With the CEREC system, Dr. Knutson and Dr. Matt can create beautiful, life-like porcelain restorations for a patient's front teeth in one visit at Knutson Family Dentistry. An infrared camera is used to take images of a patient's tooth after shaping. A CAD CAM computer program immediately downloads the images of the patient's teeth to create a three-dimensional virtual model that can be viewed and manipulated on the computer monitor.
"With CEREC, I can restore my patients' smiles in one simple visit. This allows them to leave the office with a fully restored smile, rather than having to return again to complete the procedure. Convenience is important and CEREC provides that," said Dr. Richard Knutson in Vermillion about same day crowns with CEREC technology.
In addition to the use of CEREC in the office, patients have the added benefit of visiting the practice's educational website for more information about the staff, educational videos, a smile gallery and several other features for the enhancement of dental health care. Patients can also access the website to print and fill out new patient forms, request an appointment and access an extensive patient education library.
Offering services in a vast array of areas including general dentistry, same day crowns, preventative dental care, teeth whitening and others, Dr. Richard Knutson and Dr. Matt Knutson bring quality and care to Knutson Family Dentistry. Patients looking for advanced dental care and quality dental cleanings in Vermillion turn to Dr. Knutson and Dr. Matt for services they can trust. With the introduction of CEREC at the practice's office, restorative procedures are performed easier than ever before.
