HONG, KONG, March 27, 2014 (Press-News.org) Hong Kong's first elite ice hockey league CIHL has announced a technology partnership with Inetasia, a regional leader in enterprise-level marketing solutions for digital initiatives. Through this partnership, Inetasia will support the CIHL in its efforts to further raise its profile throughout the region and, on broader scale, the profile of ice hockey in Hong Kong, Macau and Southern China.
Inetasia's expertise working to consolidate, integrate and quantify online initiatives makes them the ideal technology partner for the CIHL and the technology leader is committed to making a long-term investment in the league and in the growth of the sport from a grassroots level. Headquartered in Hong Kong, Inetasia has been at the forefront of Internet consulting since 1999.
The partnership includes the design, implementation and management of the comprehensive CIHL website (www.cihl.com) and CIHL app, which provides game and player updates as well as exclusive multi-media content. Inetasia also extends their support to search engine optimization and statistical analysis and consulting, in order to help the CIHL continue to grow its profile in Hong Kong and the region.
Nearing the completion of its third season, the CIHL has been growing at a rapid pace. The 2013-2014 CIHL season has been its most competitive to-date, in large part thanks to the CIHL's cornerstone initiatives, including the RBC Adopt a School program, which gives Hong Kong students an opportunity to experience hockey and the CIHL, a successful internship program for university hockey players from Canada and the United States, and partnerships with youth hockey club the Hong Kong Typhoons and the Hong Kong national U18 program. Working alongside Inetasia, the CIHL hopes to further promote these initiatives to ensure the programmes attract the brightest talents for future seasons.
For Inetasia, working with the CIHL is an opportunity for the company to further integrate themselves into Hong Kong's ice hockey community and be part of a growing sport that gains more and more players every year.
"We are delighted to have the support of Inetasia as the CIHL's technology partner," CIHL commissioner Grant Phillips said. "Interest in the league is growing on a daily basis and having Inetasia on board allows us to make the most of these opportunities to interact with players and fans alike, and grow both the CIHL brand and the league's audience."
