Ms. Wakefield has 19 years of experience in finance, with two years as group treasurer for Asciano Ltd. There, she lends her expertise in strategic planning and new markets to the company. Asciano Ltd is a transport and logistics company that provides logistics services, specializing in container and bulk distribution with items such as coal.

Ms. Wakefield became involved in the finance industry after starting her career as an accounts payable professional. She really enjoyed all of the financial aspects of the job, and it was a natural progression from there. Her success is due in part to her MBA from Deakin University and being able to make sound decisions and relay complex issues in simple terms.

A certified practicing accountant and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, her
strong financial background skills can be implemented in any industry. Recently, she was inducted into
Worldwide Branding and also serves on the technical committee of the Finance and Treasury Association.
Outside of the demands of her professional career, she enjoys cycling and participating in triathlons. In
the coming years, Ms. Wakefield aims for continued growth in her industry and profession. Eventually,
she would like to return to a chief financial officer position.
