LONDON, ENGLAND, November 17, 2010 (Press-News.org) Standard Life has appointed Ann Flynn as Head of Customer Management in corporate marketing, reporting to Corporate Marketing Director Jonathan Hewitt. Ann joins the company from Scottish Widows where she was Head of Marketing Communications for Corporate Pensions.
Ann joined the corporate marketing team this week and will be responsible for supporting clients and their advisers to further strengthen Standard Life's offering in the corporate market. The Edinburgh-based savings and investments company is one of the leading providers of corporate and company pensions.
Ann Flynn began her career as Regional Sales Consultant for Moore Barr Bradley in 1988 before becoming client Services Manager at Newton Barr Consulting Actuaries and Advisors in 1996. In 1999 she joined financial services group Aegon as Marketing Manager before moving to Scottish Widows in 2004.
Jonathan Hewitt, Corporate Marketing Director, Standard Life, said: "Ann brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this newly widened role and further demonstrates our commitment to the corporate sector. Ann's appointment comes only days after Standard Life Wealth, the Ultra High Net Worth discretionary investment and wealth management business of the Standard Life groups of companies, announced that it was to open a new Birmingham office, appointing five new staff and giving Standard Life Wealth its third fixed location in the UK alongside Edinburgh and London.

British Airways has announced that it is introducing first class on its popular flight to Las Vegas next summer, from June 1, 2011 and it will also be increasing capacity by 18 per cent.
