Appleton, WI Dentist Volunteers Dental Services To The Appleton Community

Dr. Perry Menos strives to keep the Appleton Community's oral health in check. With volunteer dental services, more smiles are showing!

2014-04-04
APPLETON, WI, April 04, 2014 (Press-News.org) Everyone in life has different trials and tribulations. The difficult times in people's lives can have a big impact on their perspective, which is why it's difficult to find the silver lining. If that's the case, it's even more critical to show a helping hand. At the Dental Center of the Valley, Dr. Perry Menos understands there are many Appleton residents who can't visit the dentist office. For most of those cases, it's due to financial reasons.

"It's great to lend a helping hand to patients who aren't able to make it to my dentist office. With the volunteer dental services, I am able to provide quality dental care and boost the oral health of the Appleton community," exclaims Dr. Menos, Appleton, WI dentist.

One of Dr. Menos' regular activities and responsibilities is being an executive board member and a volunteer dentist at the Tri County Dental Clinic. The staff at Tri County Community Dental Clinic's main mission is to provide quality oral health services to individuals in Outagamie, Winnebago and Calumet counties.

Approximately 85,000 people living in these counties are working with a low-income or reduction in Medicaid Care. That's why they don't have access to dental care. With compassion, Dr. Menos and the Tri County Community Dental Clinic staff handle a number of different dental cases.

"We bridge the gap for these patients. Everyone deserves to have healthy teeth and gums. The equipment and dental operatory rooms we provide at the clinic were made possible with donations, pledges and in-kind gifts. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have the resources to offer dental services to thousands of people who can't afford limited dental care," explains Dr. Menos.
