ZBS Technology Launches RainCommander, a Cloud Controlled Sprinkler System

Smartphone, tablet and PC sprinkler controller available for Summer 2014

2014-04-04
DENVER, CO, April 04, 2014 (Press-News.org) ZBS Technology, a Denver-based software development company, today announced the launch of their flagship product, the RainCommander RC1200.

The RainCommander RC1200 is a WiFi-enabled sprinkler controller that allows homeowners to run their systems from anywhere using an app on their smartphone, tablet or any other connected device.

"Today people can control lights, security cameras and even door locks from their smartphone, but many are unable to fully control their sprinkler system re-motely," said Deb Shupe, co-founder of RainCommander. "RainCommander is one of the first of its kind on the market to provide easy 12-zone sprinkler con-trol."

With landscape irrigation making up 30-60 percent of residential water usage, RainCommander can help conserve water and reduce water bills. The system enables the homeowner to bypass watering cycles if not needed because of a rainstorm, BBQ or other activity. Based on the average water usage rates for landscape irrigation, bypassing two water cycles could save the average home-owner up to 34,000 gallons of water per year.

To find out more about RainCommander and to purchase, visit http://www.raincommander.com. RainCommander is also available for purchase on Kickstarter at http://kck.st/1jWr7Ja.

Based in Denver, Colo., ZBS Technology is a software development company that created the RainCommander RC1200, an innovative product that allows homeowners and property managers to control their sprinkler systems remotely using a smartphone, tablet or any other connected device. Founded in 2014 and one of the first of its kind on the market, RainCommander is available for pur-chase at http://www.raincommander.com.
