WASHINGTON, DC, April 05, 2014 (Press-News.org) ProfectMarket (https://profectmarket.com) today announced the launch of a breakthrough way of rating and comparing professionals - Bitcoin Ratings.
The just-launched marketplace already features a number of one-of-a-kind features, including a system that harnesses the wisdom of the crowd, powered by bitcoin rewards, to help a potential client find and hire the best professionals for their particular needs.
Now, ProfectMarket has launched a unique ratings system. First, the system permits users to rate expected performance on a project based on expected hourly dollar value provided to the client per hour billed/worked. Project-specific individual and aggregate ratings are accessible only by the project creator to permit the project creator to make a more informed choice to hire the best professional. In addition, overall averages are viewable on a professional's public profile, but instead of being displayed as a U.S. dollar value, the system now converts the resulting average into a Bitcoin rating, which is the equivalent amount expressed in terms of millibitcoins.
Why Use Such a Ratings System?
Because it represents a way to more usefully compare professionals, and also standardizes the average rating in an amount that can be useful to more easily compare the level of service provided by professionals in different countries. However, it is not necessary for a potential client to be an expert on bitcoins, as relative values can be compared in order to determine the professional who, on average, is likely to provide the better service.
Won't my Bitcoin rating be subject to volatility due to Bitcoin's volatility?
In absolute terms--yes. But, currently individual ratings are all provided in terms of U.S. dollar values and the resulting average is converted to an average expressed in terms of millibitcoins. Thus, the Bitcoin ratings of all professionals will be similarly volatile. As a result, comparison of relative values between professionals will always be useful. This ratings system will facilitate both U.S. and international transactions and is a uniquely useful way to compare the level of service provided by professionals both within the U.S. and throughout the world.
As announced last week, ProfectMarket also rewards users who provide the best and most accurate recommendations with free bitcoins--anybody can be a recommender.
What Are You Waiting For?
Qualified professionals in the fields of Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Medicine, IT, Engineering, Business, Consulting, Marketing, and Strategy are encouraged to create a professional profile on the website, and buyers of professional services are encouraged to create projects in order to connect with qualified professionals. In addition, any user at all can be a recommender and earn free bitcoins.
ProfectMarket is an innovative marketplace for professional services that uses crowdsourcing to help businesses and individuals find the best lawyers, accountants, engineers, software and web developers, business consultants, and other expert professionals for their projects.
