Swarm Expands to West Midtown

Swarm Agency announces their move to the CarriageWorks office complex in West Midtown Atlanta after 6 years of continued growth.

2014-04-11
ATLANTA, GA, April 11, 2014 (Press-News.org) Swarm started out working in the basement of an auto lot. In 2008, there were only 2--CEO, Tom Ellis, and his wife, Alexa Ellis, VP of Strategy. In 2010, it was time to move out of the basement and into an old auto garage in the heart of Atlanta allowing for enough space to accommodate 5 employees. Since then, the agency has moved 2 more times to accommodate their speed of growth.

After another year of consistent growth and success, Swarm has become a team of over 25 employees and once again has outgrown their office space. The agency is expanding to over 9,000 square feet of creative space in the historic West Midtown district of Atlanta. Swarm marks its first day at 530 Means Street on Monday, April 7th 2014.

530 Means Street is a historic building that was constructed in the early 1900's. The layout is open with wood beams, exposed pipes and oversized windows. The team has spent the last couple weeks making the finishing touches on the space so that it reflects Swarm's brand look and feel. Jim Krall, VP of Operations comments, "Finding a space that fit well with our company culture was just as important as finding a space that supports our continued growth. At this rate, we are on track to double the size of our team by the end of 2014. The CarriageWorks location will not only allow us to expand in numbers but also in creativity as a digital agency."

Swarm celebrates its 6th birthday this year and Ellis says he feels very confident about where the agency is headed. "At Swarm, we believe there is always room for improvement, and we apply that philosophy to the work we do for our clients, as well as our growth as a company. We are excited about moving to a new space and look forward to continuing our growth there for many years to come."
