LONDON, ENGLAND, November 18, 2010 (Press-News.org) 2entertain has announced that following his sell out UK tour, multi award-winning stand up comedian and star of his own BBC One series, John Bishop, will be releasing his debut DVD. Filmed at the Liverpool Empire, John Bishop Live sees the comedian performing the Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated show: Elvis has Left the Building.
John gave up his normal nine-to-five job in hope of pursuing a comic career, and found inspiration for his debut comedy shows in the form of his teenage sons.The result is his new DVD, packed with analysis of their blase attitude to his chosen career, the changes that occur once your eldest son is big enough to size up to his Dad, as well as reflections on the peculiarities of 21st century family life.

John was back on the road with his new show Sunshine in October and stars in Ken Loach's new feature film Route Irish. John Bishop's Britain also aired on BBC One earlier in the year.
