LAWRENCE, KS, April 16, 2014 (Press-News.org) Tug McTighe, Callahan Creek's Executive Creative Director, will be heading to Washington, D.C., at the end of April to serve as a member of the judging panel at this year's national American Advertising Awards.
The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, comprise the advertising industry's largest competition, with over 40,000 entries submitted annually via local AAF (Ad Club) competitions. Local winners then compete in district contests, and the three-tiered challenge culminates at the national level.
"I'm incredibly honored to have been asked to judge this year's show," McTighe said. "Having been there myself a few times in my career, I know how difficult - how incredibly difficult - it is to create work that continues to win as it makes its way up the ladder."
McTighe will travel to our nation's capital on April 24 to attend the judging.
