MONTALCINO, ITALYApril 17, 2014

One week has gone since the first crowdfunding campaign by a multi-awarded winemaker was launched, and the results are promising for Roberto Cipresso. Fifth in the TOP 10 "Popular Now - Food" on Indiegogo and above all with more than the 6% of the final budget already raised.

After all it is not easy not to be fascinated by the possibility to take part to the remaking of an ancient wine, supporting the research of the forty-six years old winemaker borne in Bassano del Grappa (Italy). Looking at Roberto Cipresso while at his stand at Vinitaly 2014 tells to a bunch of people how he will take back to life the very same wine Julius Caesar was used to sip 2.000 years ago, you really feel to be time traveling and living those historical moments.

Taking part to the campaign you'll cover part of the costs for the production of the wine, becoming one of those few who will be actually able to taste this wine or to show off these rare bottles in your cellar. None of the 1000 bottle will be ever sold. Another reason not to lose this opportunity and run to make your part in making this project succeed.

Roberto Cipresso, native from Bassano del Grappa, starts his winemaking career in 1987 in Montalcino (Italy). His curated wines for La Fiorita and lately for Argentinian Achaval Ferrer received several awards and top scores in most international wine magazines.
