Post-NAB 2014 Editors' Lounge To Feature The Latest From Avid

Product designers and managers are coming from the Massachusetts office to give demonstrations throughout the evening and will be available to answer questions and discuss Avid's strategy and vision for the future

BURBANK, CA, April 20, 2014 (Press-News.org) Whether you attended NAB this year, or couldn't make it, you won't want to miss this month's Editors' Lounge where industry professionals will have the chance to get an up-close look at all the new features and latest gear from Avid. Product designers and managers are coming from the Massachusetts office to give demonstrations throughout the evening and will be available to answer questions and discuss Avid's strategy and vision for the future. Special date for the event will be Friday, April 25th at AlphaDogs Post Production 1612 W. Olive Ave, Suite 200, Burbank, CA 91506 beginning at 6:30 pm. RSVP is required to attend the event.

Attendees will see first-hand the new features of Media Composer Cloud (formerly known as Interplay Sphere) and how it allows remote connectivity for news, sports, and video production, enabling editors to collaborate and craft better stories from where they're actually happening. Editors can now work safely from anywhere equipped with the ability to move between location sites and production facilities.

Details of the Avid Connect inaugural event that took place at NAB 2014 will also be given where Avid's new Customer Association was introduced. Avid has pledged to collaborate with key industry leaders to improve upon and develop new strategies and technology for the post-production professional.
