OKEMOS, MI, April 22, 2014 (Press-News.org) Playmakers is recognizing the eighth anniversary of Good Form Running and Good Form Walking with a month long celebration in May.
Developed by Playmakers in Okemos, Good Form Running (GFR) and Good Form Walking (GFW) are simplified techniques that make running and walking easier and more comfortable for people of all ages and abilities. The proven concepts of GFR and GFW are used by New Balance and are taught in hundreds of locations across the country and internationally.
This May, Playmakers will lead a widespread celebration called Good Form month! In addition to the free weekly Good Form Running, Good Form Walking and Good Form Movement classes offered at the Playmakers store, there will be several other free opportunities for all members of the community to learn "Good Form" and to be coached by highly qualified coaches.
In addition, Playmakers will offer the world's largest Good Form Running class at the Good Form Birthday Bash Fun Run/Walk at Cooley Stadium on May 13th at 6:00pm. On Saturday's in May, Good Form Project morning workouts will be offered, a GFR Kids' Running Club is scheduled through Meridian Township Parks and Recreation (www.meridian.mi.us), and several local trainings are scheduled at AARP Kick Off events.
