Ceramic and Ceramic Hybrid Bearings For The Semiconductor Industry
2014-04-24
BOYNTON BEACH, FL, April 24, 2014 (Press-News.org) The Boca Bearing Company is proud to announce the expansion of their line of Full Ceramic and Ceramic Hybrid bearings suited for the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Boca Bearings offers many different bearing styles that are appropriate for use in both semiconductor equipment and semiconductor manufacturing. Ceramic bearings are capable of accommodating the many challenging conditions present during the stages of semiconductor production; from furnace temperatures that can reach close to 2500F to clean-room 1 air quality.

Ceramic materials commonly used for bearings are Silicon Nitride (Si3N4), Zirconia Oxide (ZrO2), Alumina Oxide (Al2O3) or Silicon Carbide (SiC). Ceramic is non-porous so it is a glass like surface that can be used in clean rooms where traditional lubrications and emissions cannot be present. Ceramic is also non-magnetic, non-corrosive, and has an extremely low rate of thermal expansion. As a result ceramic bearings can be used in silicon wafer production where high loads and high temperatures are exhibited during manufacturing.

Deep groove bearings, radial bearings, thrust bearings, angular contact bearings and self-aligning bearings are just some of the styles available in Full Ceramic and Ceramic Hybrid versions. Ceramic Hybrid bearings consist of steel races with ceramic balls. Full Ceramic bearings have ceramic races and ceramic balls. Boca Bearings has one of the largest inventories of ceramic bearings in the world but can also have custom bearings built to the specifications of the customer.

The Boca Bearing Company is one of the most trusted names in ceramic bearing technology. The reduction of rolling resistance and conservation of energy has been our hallmark since 1987. Boca Bearings never has a minimum order and is a one stop shop for everything from prototyping to production. Whether you are looking for affordability, longevity or high speed, Boca Bearings has just the bearing for you. Wholesale discounts are available upon request.

Neither these, nor the second album Electric Eye which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2014, have officially been on CD. Fans had to rely upon their vinyl and cassettes...until now. In June 2014, the entire output from Prodigal will be released as a 3-CD ...

Known as fecal microbiota transplantation, the treatment was equally effective whether given via a colonoscope or a nasogastric tube. The findings suggest approaches that may make this promising treatment more readily available to patients. A growing concern, C. difficile causes 250,000 infections requiring hospitalization ...
