SANTA MONICA, CA, April 26, 2014 (Press-News.org) John Cassese, The Dance Doctor, will celebrate his career's 30th anniversary this coming June. The dancer, choreographer, teacher and multi-talented entertainer will offer dance class specials throughout the rest of 2014.
Cassese began his business 30 years ago with private dance lessons, in students' homes. He has since grown into running one of Los Angeles most sought out dance studios. Additionally, the Dance Doctor has worked with some of Hollywood's biggest names like Adam Sandler and Elizabeth Hurley. In these 30 years, Cassese has also transitioned into choreographing dance scenes for film and TV shows, such as AMC's "Mad Men."
The Dance Doctor has also been very involved with the Santa Monica community over the years, partnering with the Westside Family Health Center, the Westside Food Bank and the Salvation Army. The Donate to Dance event in late 2013 and early 2014, targeted hunger in Santa Monica where Cassese offered free classes to the first 100 students who donated a canned or non-perishable food item, every Monday night for four months.
Over the years, Cassese's work has been featured in the LA Times, Westside People, in-numerous Santa Monica publications, and on several talk shows.
