Katrina Cavanough, Australian Author, Therapist and One of Australia's Top 10 Intuitives, Debuts Her First Book in the U.S.

WISDOM for YOUR LIFE, what i have learnt from those who have passed over about dying/death and living life in a more meaningful way.

2014-04-27
ROCHESTER, NY, April 27, 2014 (Press-News.org) Katrina Cavanough, author, therapist, life strategist and one of Australia's top 10 intuitives debuts her first book in the U.S. entitled WISDOM for YOUR LIFE, What I have learnt from those who have passed over. Based on over 10 years working in a busy hospital emergency room in Australia attending to traumatic, tragic and often unexpected deaths, she was moved by the reflection of souls. Cavanough addresses the 5 wisdoms, what the 4th dimension is and why this is the most profound as well as the difficult subject of death and dying and why, ultimately, everything is possible. Published by Allen & Unwin in Australia, the paperback book now makes its U.S. debut available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and Bookish, beginning April, 2014 for $16.95. Follow Katrina on Facebook: Facebook.com/katrinacavanough and on Twitter: @katcavanough777.

"The insights that were shared with me enriched my life. I was given information not only about dying and what it's like to crossover but about key wisdoms and living life in a more meaningful way," Cavanough says. "Those learnings have touched me in a different way. I felt lighter, as I knew that life can be easier, softer and happier. It all felt so natural," she adds.

As a clinical technician, Cavanough saw hundreds of patients in her practice. With a Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Science degrees to her credit, she is a trained professional. Neither the name of the hospital or patients is disclosed in the book for privacy and legal reasons. Nor did Cavanough reveal her ability to connect with the souls of those who were dying or had died to the hospital staff, patients and families of patients over those years. However, she grew to understand the insights and commonalities as threads of what she now refers to as wisdoms, in some of the 400 deaths and patients over the years. Cavanough recorded the occurrences, their significance and the take-away's as people crossed over. Those key insights and learnings were so profound; she knew she had to share them.

"I didn't set out to write this book per se. I went to Allen & Unwin Publishing with a different angle for my first book. I always knew I would write a book but I didn't know about what. The stories resonated and were so touching...so powerful, it was really bigger than me," says Cavanough.

A professional, clinical technician in the areas of child and family therapy as well as drug and alcohol therapy, Cavanough did not know which path she would have transitioned to herself. Aiding patients and families was her priority and life mission. Now, she takes those wisdoms and shares them in the U.S., ready to discuss the difficult subject of death and dying, why every moment is precious, why thoughts matter, that we all hold the greatest power within ourselves, acceptance is the key and that freedom from regret is important.
