TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, April 29, 2014 (Press-News.org) Michael Koscec, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Employee Survey Tool Kit for the Entec Corporation, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in organizational management.
Mr. Koscec is a leader in the measurement of employee engagement and employee emotional wellness for individuals and corporations in a variety of industries. After years in the corporate sector at the executive level and the focus in on employee engagement and mental health, he realized how important it is to promote wellness in the workplace. With 30 years of experience, he formed Entec Corporation 18 years ago, serving as the president and chief executive officer.
Mr. Koscec is very proud of his company's most recent launch of the Employee Survey Toolkit, a website providing totally free employee surveys. Creating this new website was in response to Internet users expecting free products and services on the web. They poured more than 17 years of their management consulting, leadership and employee survey experience into this website. The site provides a variety of employee surveys: satisfaction, engagement, emotional wellness and leadership, all for free, with no strings attached and no premium offerings.
With skills in the synthesis of complex information, Mr. Koscec understands the impact of organizational practices and leadership behaviors on employee engagement and employee emotional well-being. In his current position, he conducts employee surveys to gauge employee engagement, leadership capability and emotional wellness. He also provides written reports and leadership training. He attributes his successful career to his education, innovative ability and leadership skills.
Mr. Koscec published "Energizing Organizations" in 2007, a book on employee engagement and employee mental health. In September 2007, the book was ranked at number five on Amazon (ahead of Harry Potter which was at number eight at the time). He received a Publisher's Choice Award, Editor's Choice Award, and a People's Choice Award for this book. He was interviewed on the book on Breakfast Television (see YouTube video), and Harvey Schechter, a syndicated business columnist for Canada's national newspaper, The Globe and Mail, devoted a half page article to the book in February 2008. He has been interviewed on TV and has spoken at conferences and seminars across the U.S. and Canada. He is also a spokesman for the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
Mr. Koscec earned a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Master's Degree in Environmental Studies from York University. He has also completed graduate work at Columbia University and at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and has been a member of the Global Business and Economic Roundtable on Addiction and Mental Health for the past 10 years. He also maintains affiliation with the Strategic Capability Network and SHRM. As the years progress, Mr. Koscec hopes to see the subsidiary company of the Entec Corporation become just as profitable as the Entec Corporation itself and then move on to his next venture.
