GOEPPINGEN, GERMANY, November 19, 2010 (Press-News.org) TeamViewer GmbH, a leading provider of remote control and online-presentation software, has just released the beta version of TeamViewer 6, for Windows. New connection possibilities, as well as enhanced design and performance, are now included in the feature-rich solution.
With 100 million installations and a collection of Fortune 500 references, TeamViewer is selected by users all over the world. Dedicated to their impressive customer base, TeamViewer developed version 6 based on customer feedback and market demand. The new version combines the latest in remote control and online-presentation software with cutting-edge connection possibilities.
With TeamViewer 6, the customer module QuickSupport takes on new dimensions. QuickSupport can be easily adapted at http://www.teamviewer.com/download/customdesign.aspx?version=6 where companies can customize their interface to include corporate messaging as well as logos and color.
The customizable TeamViewer 6 QuickSupport now offers partnerlist integration, as well. The small executable, which operates with no installation, automatically registers new customer ID in the supporter's partnerlist. This saves time and energy for both parties, as the supporter is immediately alerted when a customer starts QuickSupport and connections can be initiated with a single click.
Also new with version 6, QuickJoin offers fresh connection possibilities for online presentations. This independent download enables viewers to connect directly to the presenter, rather than having the presenter individually enter the ID and password of each viewer. Thanks to QuickJoin, presenters can easily increase the number of concurrent viewers, and start the presentation as soon as they see all viewers are connected.
In addition to these new connection options, TeamViewer 6 offers ground-breaking design and performance. The initial screen is split into two tabs for quick and easy navigation between remote control and online-presentation, while connection performance is enhanced for increased speed in company networks.
"TeamViewer 6 is an important step not only for us but also for TeamViewer users as a whole," shares Holger Felgner, General Manager of TeamViewer GmbH. "Customer feedback is an integral part of software development at TeamViewer and our new QuickSupport and QuickJoin options are designed as an answer to market demand. We look forward to launching the final version of TeamViewer 6, and allowing our customers and users to benefit from the latest developments they have requested."
TeamViewer sessions abide by the highest security standards, encrypted with AES 256 bit encoding. Free for non-commercial use, TeamViewer offers a number of business licenses.
