LONDON, ENGLAND, November 20, 2010 (Press-News.org) A brand new professional digital collaboration community, which has been set up at Avanta's Media Village in London's Great Titchfield Street, has sparked tremendous interest from a wide range of digital genres.

The appropriately named Ignite! is the brainchild of Tony Fish and Simon Grice who founded the digital community, mashup*, which now has more than 4,500 members who meet regularly to discuss digital technology issues and opportunities. "Ignite! is where chance favours the connected minds," comments Tony Fish, and he believes "that Ignite! is something new, and builds on well established business acceleration principals."

"From our regular mashup* meetings we could see a clear need to provide a centrally-located serviced office space where high growth digital companies could grow, meet and collaborate - accelerating the rate of their idea or innovation and connecting with critical delivery, execution and implementation skills."

"Ignite! is for professionals who know that to build their business they need the help and support of a collaborative digital community, require an office space to work in within London and access to real execution skills," added Simon Grice.

Chris Taylor, Avanta's director of corporate development, comments, "Our Media Village business centre is already one of the best locations for individuals and organisations working across all aspects of the media industry so the Ignite! scheme, which provides those working in the digital sector with space on a full or part-time basis, is a perfect fit for the centre and is destined to be a great success."
