LONDON, ENGLAND, November 21, 2010 (Press-News.org) The classic tale of the reform of Ebenezer Scrooge's miserly ways in A Christmas Carol will soon be performed in London.
Guests at Kensington hotels can see the play at Trafalgar Studios from December 21st 2010 to January 8th 2011.
The dark elements of A Christmas Carol are still present in this adaptation of the story, but the production company Horla stressed it will be a family-friendly show.
Heading to the theatre to see this famous tale may be the perfect way to round off a winter break at accommodation in the capital such as the Rydges Kensington Plaza Hotel London.
Audience members can expect to sees characters such as Tiny Tim brought to life as Scrooge is forced to reconsider his selfish actions due to a visit from his deceased business partner Jacob Marley and three other ghosts.
"Horla's adaptation of Charles Dickens' melancholy tale will stay true to the original novel, concentrating on the darker aspects of the story and making the embittered Scrooge's redemption all the more joyous and uplifting," explained the organisers.
The company previously made the Grimms Trilogy.
Tickets for the show start from GBP22.50 and are available online.
Show times vary depending on the day, but there are matinee and evening performances on many dates.
