Pets Best Insurance Earns Better Business Bureau's A+ Rating for Fifth Year in a Row

High customer service cited for continued excellence

2010-11-22
BROOKFIELD, WI, November 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) Pets Best Insurance has again been awarded the Better Business Bureau's A+ rating for customer service - an honor the pet insurance company has received for five straight years.

Several criteria, including the number of complaints and how they are resolved, the speed in which complaints are resolved and accredited business status, all factor in determining a company's overall score. Pets Best Insurance's A+ rating, the highest rating a company can receive, means it scored 97 percent or higher.

"It's no accident that Pets Best Insurance has received another A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau," said Dr. Jack Stephens, founder and president of the company.

"We take great pride in customer service and have made it a point of emphasis over the past several years. This A+ rating signifies to our customers just what kind of business we are."

Pets Best Insurance is constantly reviewing its operations and evaluating ways to better serve its customers. One such way is its new Pets Best Insurance Direct Deposit Program. Unveiled in September, the program allows policyholders to quickly and easily file their claim online, and once approved, their reimbursement is deposited directly into their bank account. The addition of the program means that Pets Best Insurance is the only pet insurance company offering a simple, fast and convenient end-to-end online claims submission and reimbursement process.

In addition to its customer service, Pets Best has constantly received high marks from customers for its straightforward 80 percent reimbursement of veterinary services after the deductible has been met.

"There are reasons why customers enroll with Pets Best Insurance, and stay with us," Stephens said. "We believe that transparency is a cornerstone to effective customer service, and we look forward to earning a sixth consecutive A+ rating next year."

The Pets Best Insurance Plans and Advantage
Pets Best Insurance offers three standard plans for accidents, illnesses and injury: The Pets Basic plan, which comes with a $100, $250 or $500 deductible, a $2,500 per incident limit and a $42,500 lifetime limit; the Pets First plan, which comes with a $100, $250 or $500 deductible, a $7,000 per incident limit and a $100,000 lifetime limit; or the Pets Premier plan, which comes with a $250 or $500 deductible, a $14,000 per incident limit and a $100,000 lifetime limit.
