Bliss Salon and Spa, a hair salon in Lafayette, IN, has announced they will be holding an open house on Friday, November 26th for the holiday shoppers who need a break during the day.

LAFAYETTE, IN, November 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) Bliss Salon and Spa, a hair salon in Lafayette, IN, has announced they will be holding an open house on Friday, November 26th for the holiday shoppers who need a break during the day. The event will be held at Bliss Salon and Spa from 12:00 - 3:00 and will feature local vendors of handmade jewelry, Pampered Chef (kitchen utensils), Scentsy (candles), Thirty One (purses and bags), Wild Tree Food (healthy snacks for the holidays), and live presentations from Benedict Flowers to give ideas on holiday decor.

According to Bliss Salon and Spa owner, Bethany Tyrrell, "I wanted to offer something different for area residents, so they could take a break during the busiest shopping day of the year. Our stylists and spa personnel have the day off, so we've decided to offer refreshments and entertainment free of charge to the community."

Tyrrell goes on, "The response from area vendors has been terrific. People do not have to be Bliss customers to enjoy the day - we are inviting everyone and we encourage people to bring their family members. We can't think of a better kickoff to the holiday season than offering tired shoppers a break." Bliss will be serving complimentary holiday snacks as well as a season favorite - hot chocolate. Bliss will also be reducing gift certificate purchases by 20% as well as many other specials for the day.

Bliss Salon and Spa features top stylists in the Lafayette area for traditional hair styles for both men and women. Bliss has also designed an entire floor of their building for spa treatments, massages, pedicures, wax treatments, as well as manicures. Bliss Salon and Spa opened in 2005 and has been rapidly growing.
