COLUMBUS, OH, November 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) Samantha Brown, the inspiring and popular host of several programs on the Travel Channel, will share her travel experiences with AAA Great Vacations EXPO guests on Sunday, January 23, 2011. Brown takes the AAA Travel Stage, presented by Best Western, at Noon and 2:30 p.m. at Franklin County Veterans Memorial in downtown Columbus.

Brown, who spends more than 200 days traveling each year, started her TV travel career started with "Great Vacation Homes," which offered an insider's view into vacation home ownership. From there, she was asked to host "Great Hotels," offering the audience a unique and emotional perspective on each property. In 2008, Brown's adventures continued with the installment of two new Passport series. She takes viewers on short getaways with the premiere of "Samantha Brown: Passport to Great Weekends" and then heads overseas for "Samantha Brown: Passport to China." Her series, "Samantha Brown: Passport To Europe," is a perfect example of sightseeing, Samantha Brown style.

Brown's easy-going, playful personality instills trust in her viewers and encourages them to explore new places. Her programs are always shot on location, not from the armchair of a television studio. "I'm not an expert, as much as I am a real person with whom people can connect. I immerse myself in the culture and invite viewers to do the same."

Show hours are Friday 12 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tickets are available at the door or beginning December 1 at any AAA Ohio Auto Club office for $9 or $6 for any AAA member.
