LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, November 30, 2010 (Press-News.org) Famous and Fearless is set to be filmed at the Liverpool Echo Arena in January and will feature Dame Kelly Holmes as one of the brave contestants.

The television show is free to attend and anyone interested in heading down to the venue from their Liverpool hotels only needs to visit the Channel 4 website to apply for tickets.

Famous and Fearless will see eight famous faces take on a variety of activities, such as street luge and monster trucks, in a bid to be crowned the overall winner of the contest and secure a donation for a charity of their choice.

As well Dame Kelly, attendees will have the chance to see flame-haired radio DJ Chris Evans presenting the show alongside Clare Balding, who has been gushing in her praise for the former Big Breakfast host.

Balding said: "I am hugely excited to be working with Chris again, who is in my opinion the most talented live presenter on TV.

"I am also looking forward to seeing eight very brave people putting themselves under pressure in sports they have never attempted before."

The action takes place from January 2nd to 7th 2011 at the Liverpool Echo Arena, with 5,000 people expected to attend every evening.
