Absolute Transitions - New Company Offers Emotional Support Approaches for Midlife Transition

As the number of individuals reaching the ages of 45 to 62 expands enormously in the coming years, they will be facing challenges in all aspects of their life.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ, November 30, 2010

As the number of individuals reaching the ages of 45 to 62 expands enormously in the coming years, they will be facing challenges in all aspects of their life. Absolute Transitions, a newly launched life transition coaching company in Maplewood, New Jersey is there to provide them the emotional support they need.

Founder Tony Calabrese is well experienced in many of these issues. In the last 5 years he has endured the death of a spouse, moved on from a 30 year corporate career, returned to school to study for a new career venture, has started his own business and has remarried. Through his experiences and training to become a Certified Professional Coach, Calabrese has learned that how well you are aware of your emotions and your ability to look for the opportunities in each situation faced, can help allow you to both move forward with your life and enjoy it to the fullest extent possible.

"While each person's experiences may be different, a common thread that many of my generation are finding is that the world of 2010 is nothing like the world in which they grew up", Calabrese explains. "Facing the prospective of finding a new job, readjusting plans for retirement, seeing your personal relationships change, or experiencing health issues that you have never faced before can be very daunting. Realizing that you are not going through these issues alone, sharing your thoughts on how to move forward from them with others going through similar issues, or just partnering with someone to hold you accountable about the changes you want to make in your life can be very empowering once you have freely committed yourself to do so". Absolute Transitions is structured to provide various alternatives for its clients from which to choose in order to work through these issues.

Currently their website contains a number of different insights that are found through its Blog page and Tips and Tools tab. In being trained at IPEC coaching, Calabrese is a Preferred Partner for IPEC's Energy Leadership Index program, which contains both an eye opening attitudinal assessment and several self-study or coach aided programs in a number of disciplines that can be individually tailored to a client's needs. Future proposed offerings will include free or low cost teleseminars and discussion groups to allow individuals to interact and make connections with others sharing similar issues.

"The last 5 years has reinforced for me that we all have a choice to make on how we want to move forward through our lives," Calabrese adds. "Even if we choose to accept the status quo and find it painful to do so, we're making a choice not to change our circumstances. As more people reaching their midlife years realize that the world is not going back to the way they knew it to be, the more they will be turning inward to find the answers that will move them forward with their life."
