OXFORD, ENGLAND, August 30, 2010 (Press-News.org) Today marks the one year anniversary for music marketing website The Musician's Guide (www.themusiciansguide.co.uk). To celebrate, founder Marcus Taylor from Oxford has announced the launch of a variety of new products and services including video training courses, interactive online tools, downloadable lists of music industry contacts and much more, in the hope that The Musician's Guide will soon become the 'go-to' place for all musicians looking for information on how to build a career in the music industry.
Since launching last year, The Musician's Guide has attracted almost 17,000 musicians to the website and has received a countless number of excellent reviews by readers and music companies who have agreed to endorse the guide, including Ditto Music, Top of the Ox, MicControl, and Splitgigs.
Marcus Taylor, founder of The Musician's Guide says:
"The new features added to The Musicians Guide this week represent the start of a big change for The Musician's Guide - from being a single book about how to market music, to a full fledged hub of resources built with musicians in mind."
Over the next year The Musician's Guide will be launching many more exciting new features, and looking to collaborate with other forward thinking music companies to maximise the reach and awareness that the website has.
Marcus adds:
"I am planning a trip over to the USA early next year to meet up with some of my good friends in the music marketing community who have inspired a lot of what I talk about and have indirectly contributed to making the resources on the website to the standard that they are."
About The Musicians Guide: The Musician's Guide was founded in 2009 by Marcus Taylor, who prior to starting The Musician's Guide managed Starharbour Records and many established music artists. The Musician's Guide is ran in Oxford, UK, where Marcus was born and spent all of his years growing up.
