PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, December 09, 2010 (Press-News.org) Holidaymakers who have yet to attend the Ancient Czech Legends exhibition at the National Museum in Prague still have plenty of time to catch it.
The display, which focuses on the nation's historic legends and folklore, is due to run until July 6th 2011.
Ancient Czech Legends will be the last major exhibition to take place in the museum's main historical building before it closes temporarily for planned renovation work.
Guests of Prague hotels who are keen to learn more about the country's past, major archeological discoveries and legendary folk tales can expect an entertaining and interactive experience in one of the city's most popular attractions.
"Mysteries await the visitor in the form of an undeciphered carving from the headstone of patriarch Cech's tomb," the National Museum's website explains.
As well as medieval manuscripts and baroque paintings, travellers will have the opportunity to study interactive video maps and multimedia games to bring ancient history to life.
Basic admission to the museum is priced at 150 Czech koruna (GBP5.10), while special tickets for a family of four are available for 250 Czech koruna.
For more information on this event, visit the National Museum website or contact the venue on (+420) 224 497 111.
