Le Meridien Amman Appoints New General Manager Giuseppe Ressa

AMMAN, JORDAN, August 31, 2010 (Press-News.org) Le Meridien Amman, a subsidiary of Starwood Hotels and Resorts, has announced the appointment of Mr. Giuseppe Ressa as the General Manager, effective August 18th, 2010.

Born in Italy, Ressa - who is fluent in Italian, English, French and Spanish - acquired his degree in hotel management from A. Perotti in Bari, and brings with him more than 27 years of international hospitality experience. He joins Le Meridien Amman following previous positions as General Manager of several luxurious properties, such as Le Meridien Nirwana Bali, Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort and Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa.

"I am very excited to assume this position in such a reputable and sophisticated hotel," commented Ressa. "I am looking forward to continuing the success of this property, supported by a heritage of cultured service and a dynamic team driven by a passion for distinction."

As General Manager, Mr. Ressa will supervise the operations of Le Meridien Amman and lead its 400 associates, with its 430 spacious room, 13 meeting rooms, 7 various restaurants and health club and spa, with its indoor and outdoor pools.
