West Florida Components, one of the fastest growing online retailers of electronic components, today announced that it has expanded its operations. "Despite the economic downturn, West Florida Components is experiencing record growth and is on track to see a 25% increase in revenue in 2010," according to Patricia Pepe, the company's owner. "We attribute much of that increase to our customer-friendly policies which include maintaining reasonable shipping costs and a 'no minimum order' policy." West Florida Components also distinguishes itself from its competition by stocking everything they sell. The privately owned company, which was founded in 2005, regularly ships electronic components, parts, and supplies to over 85 countries around the globe.In the past month, the company has relocated its main warehouse and offices to New Port Richey, Florida, effectively doubling their workspace. The new warehouse consolidated their offices making their operation more efficient. "Moving our operation further north made it possible for us to combine multiple locations and improve our workflow. We now have our complete inventory under one roof," said Pepe.
West Florida Components carries a full range of electronic parts from discontinued semiconductors to products currently in production and Pepe is confident that their growth will continue. "As we've grown, we have expanded our product selection from primarily surplus electronics to current production stock and now into related areas like educational kits and solar power supplies."
The new facility in New Port Richey is also home to West Florida Components website staff. "Our website has been driving our growth over the past two years. We have several innovative projects in the works that will bring our website technology to the next level before the end of the year. These are pretty exciting times for us," Pepe stated.
