Sunday Drive Announces Search for the Best Holiday Light Display in America

Candy Cane Lanes offers 2 nights at The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay for whoever finds the best Candy Cane Lane in the nation.

VENTURA, CA, December 15, 2010

During their stay, the winner also gets to enjoy 'The Ultimate Sunday Drive' via an exclusive VIP test drive in Tesla Motors' amazing all-electric roadster. The Ritz-Carlton's award-winning Sunday Brunch is also included in this prize. And after lunch, this lucky traveler is invited to cruise the hotel's 'Signature Drive', which winds from the rugged beauty of California's world-famous Highway 1 and through quaint coastal villages before ascending to the scenery and serenity of the Santa Cruz Mountains' towering redwoods.

Jason Scott, CEO, stated "people take a lot of pride in decorating their homes during the holidays, we wanted to create a challenge to recognize the most brilliant displays. Mobile and social networking are ideal and fun ways to find the best neighborhood light display in America". He added, "part of the goal for Sunday Drive is to encourage communities and families to spend more time together. Traveling to the best local light displays is a traditional and nostalgic way for people to do that".

To enter the contest, users simply travel to their favorite holiday light display, record the route using Sunday Drive's free mobile software, and they are automatically entered to win. Photos from the route will be posted on the Sunday Drive Facebook page: http://facebook.com/sundaydrivenet, and the winner will be the person who takes the photo that earns the most 'likes'.

The Candy Cane Lanes challenge runs through the entire month of December. Winner will be announced when the ball drops in New York on 2011. For information about the Candy Cane Lanes Challenge, the Sunday Drive app, contact Jason Scott by phone or email.
