Meredith Communications Launches New Website for National Women's Networking Group

Raleigh based Meredith Communications is pleased to announce the launch of a new website for WOAMTEC, a national women's networking group based out of Longwood, Florida.

2010-12-15
RALEIGH, NC, December 15, 2010 (Press-News.org) Raleigh based Meredith Communications is pleased to announce the launch of a new website for WOAMTEC, a national women's networking group based out of Longwood, Florida. WOAMTEC, which stands for, Women on a Mission to Earn a Commission, launched in October 2007 and has grown at an amazing rate and now consists of 50 chapters nationwide.

The new WOAMTEC website (www.woamtec.com) was designed to create an eye catching and easy to navigate site to appeal to both prospective members and current members of WOAMTEC. This premiere networking group was designed to attract successful businesswomen looking for ways to grow their business, therefore the site had to quickly showcase all the benefits of becoming a WOAMTEC member and all of the chapter locations and meeting opportunities. The site was designed to immediately appeal to today's savvy businesswoman searching for ways to increase her company's bottom line and overall revenue.
For prospective members, the site provides multiple search paths to easily navigate through the site to view chapter locations, meeting times, a Public Member Directory, enewsletter sign up and an RSVP form to attend a meeting. Not only is the site user friendly, it also captured the essence of the organization through the flash, presentations, photo galleries and videos of WOAMTEC meetings and Confident Women conferences. The site showcases successful, yet social businesswomen and activities to effectively represent the mission of WOAMTEC.
One of the most significant features of the site is the custom membership management back-end system. This robust system now allows WOAMTEC to accurately manage all of their membership records, as well as, tie it to the public and member only directories. Unlike their previous website, the new site has the ability to process new membership and renewal applications online with a shopping cart. The site also features an online store for members to purchase WOAMTEC merchandise.
Kathleen Hawkins, Founder and President of WOAMTEC, is thrilled with the new site stating "Meredith Communications did an amazing job redesigning our new site. They offered so much more than design services. They actually helped us create something that permitted our company to operate more efficiently and automate production. I not only have a fabulous new more efficient site and administrative software, I am now saving hundreds of dollars every month. They saved us money. They created a committed client".
The site is extremely interactive featuring photo galleries, embedded videos, a Facebook "like" button, an integrated blog, and a Director's only section available for training and enrichment. An advanced search function was implemented to allow searches by name, key word, category or chapter making networking within WOAMTEC easier than ever before. The group encourages chapter members to search and do business with each other Nationwide, and the new search feature makes that possible.
For current and prospective members, a contact form is easily accessible and offers a variety of options for including a general inquiry, chapter meeting RSVP, Special Event RSVP, new membership application, membership renewal and Chapter Director applications.
For members, the site offers outstanding resources as well as advertising options. Current members can purchase member advertising banners that can be found throughout the side bar of the site. It was vital that members were provided effective tools and resources therefore the site was designed with a valuable Member only section. Members can now log into the Member Only Club section and edit their contact information, add special promotions and discounts, upload new logos and headshots, and also quickly contact their Director through the website. Members can also track their membership subscription and easily renew online.
Meredith Communications is not only proud to add http://www.woamtec.com to their portfolio of completed projects; they look forward to their continued relationship with WOAMTEC on future internet marketing needs.
