CLEARWATER, FL, December 15, 2010 (Press-News.org) Amafruits , a leading supplier of Brazilian açaí pulps and purees in the Midwest, announced today the beginning of their first Amafruits Açaí Photo Contest. They were so inspired by all the wonderful purple smiles on kids at the Orland Park Kids Turkey Trot that they decided to make it a photo contest. All ages are welcome - the only requirement is that the pictures show people enjoying Amafruits' açaí or showing their açaí smiles. So get a little creative and show off your best açaí smile!
The photos submitted should be as high resolution as possible. Photos can be posted to our page on Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/amafruits, submitted by email to custserv@amafruits.com, or submitted through our contact us submission form on http://www.amafruits.com/contact-us (be sure to include a way to contact you). Winners will be selected at random and will receive a free 24-pack of premium açaí fruit pulp (your choice of flavor). The contest will run through Jan 20th and the prize will be sent out the week of Jan 24th. Group photos are welcome, but the prize will only be delivered to one address.
Sold in the freezer section of grocery and natural health food stores or delivered frozen from amafruits.com, Amafruits açaí fruit pulps & purees are fast and easy to thaw for making açaí juices or great-tasting smoothies. They are also perfect for making world famous açaí bowls, delicious deserts, fun and energetic cocktails, delectable sauces and dressings, or just simply eating straight from the pack.
Just as Brazilians already know, the only true way to get açaí outside the Amazon is in a frozen puree or pulp...pure and simple. So, don't be fooled by all of the expensive açaí juices with only a small amount of açaí, or by the capsules and powders claiming to provide real nutritional benefits. "We welcome any comparison of our açaí with other açaí products, both in price and quality. Once you try our açaí, you'll want it every day," said Brandon Hovey, Amafruits' CEO.
For more information on ordering or any questions on the contest, please visit Amafruits' website, http://www.amafruits.com, contact customer service directly by email at custserv@amafruits.com or call toll-free (877) 818-1AMA.
