Pastor Michaels has organized a variety of community celebrations to compete with the fabricated commercial holiday promotions. A gospel choir concert will kick off the celebrations as young and old alike can bask in the sounds of Christmas carols and Christian songs. The final celebration that the Christian Fellowship Center will hold is the Happy Birthday Jesus festival followed by a midnight mass. This will hopefully inspire the community residents to participate in the festival and join the parish as guests for the midnight mass. This Christmas celebration will feature a festival of food and games and the presentation of Scrooge the Musical. The church grounds will be covered in custom church signs directing guests to the different festivities, announcing activity times, and welcoming visitors from the community.
