STREAMWOOD, IL, December 17, 2010 (Press-News.org) Michael Droste, a composer and musician from Illinois, wrote a song called "We're All In This Together." "I wanted a way to inspire others to do the right thing - and what better way than through a song," said Droste. In these tumultuous times of unemployment, climate change, and uncertainty, this song send messages of hope, that we need to help each other, we need to work together and that beauty can change the world. The song makes you think about what you can do to make your life better for you and for everyone.
"I wanted to emphasize points that every person can do, such as: recognize that we are all connected, all living on one planet. We need to help others, and work together to bring about positive change," said Droste. He stated, "I also wanted to get the idea out there that: Beauty Can Change The World." When one creates something of beauty, it brings out the message of hope and positive change. "When people create something beautiful, a painting, a sculpture, or contribute to those people or organizations creating beauty, they help to bring about the message that beauty is capable of having an impact upon a person, and in doing so - change the world." "Songs are a very fun and yet strong way to get messages into people's minds through a melody that people don't forget," said Droste.
"I want people to pass on this song to others," said Mike. "Give the song to family and friends, to remind those closest to them of the truly important aspects of life," said Droste. He hopes to get their message of positive change and action out to the public. Many who have heard the song, go away humming the melody and thinking about ways in which We're All In This Together.
