Accentuate Writers Forum Announces New Look

The Accentuate Writers Forum, part of the Accentuate family of author services, has a new design.

2010-12-17
ODESSA, TX, December 17, 2010 (Press-News.org) Accentuate announces a new look for Accentuate Writers Forum, a discussion board dedicated to helping fiction and nonfiction writers develop their craft and get paid for their writing. The forum's owner, author Michelle Devon, has recently updated the forum with more paid writing leads, better organization and a new look, including a color scheme that is relaxing to the eyes.

In addition to the constantly growing list of paying leads for nonfiction and creative writing already on the forum, Devon has added leads for poets to sell their work. Devon spends hours every week researching paying writing leads and writing contests and posts them to the board. She also researches scams that prey on writers to warn would-be victims.

The forums have been reorganized to allow for better discussions of writing and publishing questions for both fiction and nonfiction writers, as well as the sharing of publishing success stories. Old threads have been archived to allow the board to load more quickly, particularly for visitors on dial-up and other slow Internet connections.

To increase the aesthetic appeal of the board, a new color scheme has been designed to calm the eye and reduce color spots when navigating to other sites. The larger, smoother font is also designed to reduce eye strain. Visitors will also find helpful graphics to indicate new posts in a thread, along with buttons to jump to the new posts. In deference to the holiday season, Devon has provided fun Christmas graphics that add a homey look to the board.

Accentuate Writers Forum invites writers to visit the forum, register and join in the discussions. The forum members are inviting, friendly and helpful people who support each other in their writing endeavors.
