BRIGHTON, ENGLAND, December 19, 2010 (Press-News.org) The UK's largest IT graduate employer, FDM Group, plan to double its recruitment drive in 2011 and create 1000 new jobs in order to help tackle IT graduate unemployment.
As 'Best Technical Graduate Recruiter' according to the National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2010, FDM will double its intake in 2011, enabling the company create 1000 more opportunities for individuals struggling to find employment in the IT industry.
The Group has more than 200 blue-chip clients worldwide and the Academy Programme will allow successful candidates to gain direct commercial experience with some of the largest financial, media, insurance, retail and telecommunications companies in the world, including HSBC, UBS, BSkyB and Bank of America.
For individuals concerned about securing a job in the 'worst unemployment market for 17 years', the FDM Academy provides the essential combination of postgraduate training and commercial expertise for graduates who lack the skills required to secure a job in the competitive IT sector, bridging the gap between university and employment. The Group received over 20,000 job applications in 2010 and recruited over 500 onto the Academy Programme.
