HONOLULU, HI, December 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) The CDM Media team announced today the launch of two CIO Think Tank events for senior technology executives representing the media and entertainment industry. The CIO Think Tank events will focus on the topic of Business Transformation Services.
The CIO Think Tanks, to be held March 29, 2011 in Los Angeles and March 31, 2011 in New York, will bring together an exclusive group of 10 IT thought leaders, including CIOs, CTOs, COOs, CFOs and Chief Procurement and Sourcing Officers from the media and entertainment industry.
The one-day events will be supported by HCL, the leader in bringing end to end IT & Technology transformation to the media and entertainment industry segments. The Think Tanks are an opportunity for attending executives to meet, network and discuss the latest technology topics and trends, including:
• Business aligned sourcing strategies for technology-lead business transformation in the one-on-one convergence marketplace
• Risk-reward partnership: output-based pricing for software services
• Transformational sourcing models
The CIO Think Tank agendas will include a roundtable, networking and a Q&A session to encourage idea sharing and in-depth discussion.
"CIO Think Tanks are a unique opportunity for technology executives to make new business contacts and discuss the critical IT strategies they need to get ahead and stay ahead of the technology curve. The events are an opportunity for executives to get away from their desks and be productive without taking a lot of time away from the office," said Ross Abbott, VP North America, CDM Media.
