Saint John Dining.com Makes it Easy to Find a Place to Dine in Saint John

Big Fish Media this month unveiled Saint John Dining.com, a comprehensive online restaurant directory for Saint John, Rothesay, Quispamsis and Hampton.

2010-12-23
SAINT JOHN, NB, CANADA, December 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) Big Fish Media this month unveiled Saint John Dining.com, a comprehensive online restaurant directory for Saint John, Rothesay, Quispamsis and Hampton. Visitors to Saint John Dining.com will find detailed information about local restaurants, including photos, menus, website links, information about the cuisine served, contact details and a Google map.

Saint John Dining.com is the brain child of Sara MacQueen, owner of Big Fish Media, a Saint John web development company. "Before Saint John Dining.com there really wasn't a way to get detailed information about local restaurants all in one place," says MacQueen. "I decided to fix that by creating a website that would bring all of the city's restaurants into the spotlight."

For diners, the website provides a quick and simple way to find or research a restaurant. Users can browse by cuisine (ex. Asian, Italian), location (ex. Uptown Saint John, Kennebecasis Valley) or restaurant type (ex. fine dining, pub). For restaurant owners, a listing on Saint John Dining.com will put their establishment in front of the eyes of their target audience - people actively looking for a place to dine in Saint John.

Big Fish Media recognizes the growing number of people that use their phone to browse the Internet and created a mobile-friendly version of the website that loads automatically when viewed by a smart phone. "We are extremely excited about the mobile version of Saint John Dining.com," says MacQueen. "It puts all of this information about Saint John restaurants into the palm of anyone's hand." A mobile-friendly restaurant directory for Saint John means that a business person staying at a local hotel can pull up the website on their Blackberry and quickly find a place for dinner near their hotel. It means that a cruise ship visitor here for the day can see all of the restaurants available uptown, not just the ones they walk by; and it means that anyone on-the-go in Saint John can find a place to stop and eat in the same area of town.

Visit http://www.SaintJohnDining.com for information on more than 75 local restaurants.

If you own or manage a restaurant in the Saint John area please visit http://www.SaintJohnDining.com/restaurant-owners.html to learn how you can add or enhance your restaurant's listing.

Big Fish Media is a Saint John New Brunswick company specializing in creating and managing niche, content-driven websites. Their websites serve over one million page views every month and have received attention from National and International media, including CBS news.
