KRABI, THAILAND, December 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) The regatta has been running for 13 years and organizers have renamed the event for this year, The Bay Regatta - Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi, and it is hoped that this will reflect the true nature of the event. The dates for the 2011 event have been confirmed for 9th to 13th February 2001.
The region's yachting community will come together against the stunning backdrop of the limestone cliffs of Phang Nga Bay. The yachts will set sail around the three provinces of Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi and participants will spend four days racing and five days partying aboard.
The regatta has a reputation as being the fun regatta in Asia and is definitely one of the highlights of the racing calendar, offering the most stunning scenery.
It is expected that over 60 yachts with full crew will enter the race joining from many countries around the world. The teams will be competing for a honour in one of six classes, Bareboat Charter, Racing, Firefly 850, Cruising A, Cruising B, and Multihull.
The event will pass through the beaches of Krabi, so anyone staying in hotels in Krabi will have the opportunity to view the fantastic sight of the world-class yachts moored in the limestone bays.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) estimates that one in every six fatal car accidents results from a fatigued driver. This statistic shows why New Jersey's law that criminalizes drowsy driving is necessary to combat the problem of over-tired drivers.
In a study by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, 41 percent of the drivers surveyed admitted to having fallen asleep at the wheel. Also, more than a quarter of the drivers reported that within the last month they drove despite being so tired that they had trouble keeping their eyes open.

Recession Continues to Affect Divorcing Parties
2010-12-24
In 2008, many predicted that the recession would have a negative effect on marriages, as job losses and mounting debt would lead to more divorces. The divorce rate has steadily declined in the last two years, but the recession has changed the tenor of many divorces. Couples not accustomed to concession found themselves in awkward circumstances where the lack of resources forced them to make economical, "couple-focused" decisions even though they are no longer together.

With the housing market depressed, couples are no longer fighting over who ...
Shortcuts and Forgeries Mar the Foreclosure Process and Should There be a National Blanket Moratorium on Foreclosures?
2010-12-24
By John J. Scura II
It was reported in the Washington Post on September 23, 2010, that the already overburdened foreclosure system is now buried in problems due to increased volume, leading to forged signatures, lenders who take shortcuts reviewing borrowers' files, and even judges signing off on foreclosure papers prematurely, deserting their role as final gate keeper. As an attorney, given the fact that we are talking about whether or not people's homes will be saved, I am appalled that such things are happening.
Over the last ten years, we have run the gamut from ...
