About Amazing Books(TM):

Amazing Books app brings children's pop-up books to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. Based around their exclusive and interactive Flomotion(TM) control system developed for mobile platforms, Amazing Books(TM) updates the classic pop-up book for the digital age.

Simply by running your finger back and forth across the screen, you make the characters come to life and perform each part of the story as you read. Ever wanted to take control of the SPACE SHUTTLE as it blasts into space? Now you can! You are in control of the "flow" of the animation.

Drag your finger slowly, super fast or any speed you wish and watch the characters move. You can even reverse the animation by moving your finger backwards. This technology brings a new level of interaction and involvement to every story, and immerses the user in each page.

About the music:

Richard Sherman and his brother Robert are perhaps best known for the song, "It's a Small World," featured in the theme park ride of the same name at Disneyland, Disney World and other Disney properties. Together they also were awarded two Oscars for their music in the Disney feature film, "Mary Poppins," the stage version of which currently can be seen on Broadway and around the world as well. As composers and lyricists they created other songs in films including "Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang, The Jungle Book, Snoopy Come Home, Winnie the Pooh, The Parent Trap, The Aristocats," and "Charlotte's Web." Mr. Sherman recently added a new and original song to the soundtrack of "Iron Man 2" and coming soon, "Captain America."

"We're thrilled that a composer of Richard Sherman's caliber has brought our Amazing characters to life," said Ben Rosenberg, co-founder of Amazing Books. "His songs have stayed in the minds and hearts of generations children and adults. We're sure his memorable tunes will help our delightful books remain in your own children's hearts and minds as well."

Mr. Sherman wrote 8 songs for the upcoming book releases and instrumental versions will be available on ITunes, free download, preceding the release of a full album of original music plus lyrics in 2011.

Tax Resolution Firm Blue Tax Reduces Taxpayer's IRS Debt by 74%

2010-12-28
Many of today's taxpayers have considered the recent years to be financially stressful. Making ends meet have become increasingly more difficult sometimes resulting in cutting costs wherever they can be cut. At times like these we often do not make the brightest decisions and filing our taxes can sometimes be one of those decisions we tend to overlook. When this happens the IRS doesn't take too kindly to such actions. The IRS then has to calculate an educated guess of what we would have made and then owed which is called an SFR (Substitute for Return). As in most cases ...

Not all infant formulas are alike: Differential effects on weight gain

2010-12-27
PHILADELPHIA (December 27, 2010) – New findings from the Monell Center reveal that weight gain of formula-fed infants is influenced by the type of formula the infant is consuming. The findings have implications related to the infant's risk for the development of obesity, diabetes and other diseases later in life. "Events early in life have long-term consequences on health and one of the most significant influences is early growth rate," said study lead author Julie Mennella, Ph.D., a developmental psychobiologist at Monell. "We already know that formula-fed babies gain ...

Newborns with low vitamin D levels at increased risk for respiratory infections

2010-12-27
The vitamin D levels of newborn babies appear to predict their risk of respiratory infections during infancy and the occurrence of wheezing during early childhood, but not the risk of developing asthma. Results of a study in the January 2011 issue of Pediatrics support the theory that widespread vitamin D deficiency contributes to risk of infections. "Our data suggest that the association between vitamin D and wheezing, which can be a symptom of many respiratory diseases and not just asthma, is largely due to respiratory infections," says Carlos Camargo, MD, DrPH, of ...
