Configure One Displays the Right Attributes for Rand Diversified

Leading promotional and merchandising solutions company selects Configure One to help their clients streamline the quote-to-order process.

2010-12-31
OAK BROOK, IL, December 31, 2010 (Press-News.org) Configure One , a leading provider of web-based product configurator and electronic catalog software, today announced that Rand Diversified--a leading full-service promotional and merchandising solutions company--selected Configure One's Concept Enterprise Product Configurator after a comprehensive evaluation.

Rand Diversified is a privately owned, full-service promotional and merchandising solutions company that prides itself on outstanding service. The company was looking for a way to help its clients better interact with their customers and streamline the quote-to-order process.

"We supply Point of Purchase display solutions to the leading consumer goods, personal products, and OTC pharmaceutical companies," said Mike Garda, director of information systems. "We were looking for a tool that would provide our clients with the ability to collaborate with their customers, and discuss together which products to put into the display."

Rand Diversified evaluated three vendors during an intensive two-month period. Ultimately, they selected Configure One's Concept Enterprise Product Configurator. Garda explained:

"The main reason we selected Configure One was that their software met our requirements out of the box. The other vendors we evaluated were proposing building a custom solution."

According to Garda, an essential component of Configure One's solution was Concept's real-time 2D modeling capabilities. "Our clients' sales reps will be able to sit down with their customers and decide in real-time the best items to put into a display. Concept will generate a quote and an image of the products in the display. We believe this will reduce the quote-to-order cycle time for both Rand and our clients."

"Rand Diversified is known for it's superior customer service, and we believe that Concept will further enhance that reputation," said Chris DiEllo, Configure One's director of eastern region. "Concept's powerful visualization capabilities will enable Rand's clients to better collaborate with their customers, and ultimately reduce the lead time to build a display."
