MADRID, SPAIN, September 02, 2010 (Press-News.org) Audiences can expect to be blown away by the athletic prowess and artistic beauty of Saltimbanco - the Cirque du Soleil show due to be performed in Madrid.

There are currently more than 900 artists in the Cirque du Soleil collective, which was initially formed in 1984 by two street artists in Montreal and can currently count itself as one of the most celebrated acts in the world.

Saltimbanco is set to take place in Madrid from October 5th to October 10th 2010, with individuals of more than 20 nationalities involved in staging the production.

Some of the tricks audience members can expect to see include trampoline acrobatics, Russian swing and Chinese pole vaults, according to the Es Madrid.

The Saltimbanco tour will see the company perform in a variety of cities across the world, including Milan and Munich, as well as the Spanish cities of Granada and Zaragoza.

But guests at Madrid hotels will no doubt only be interested in the shows happening in the capital, with the destination's Sports Palace set to host proceedings.

The start times of performances vary depending on the day and visitors should expect to pay upwards of EUR39 (GBP32) for tickets, which are available online.
