To-Increase Announces Its New Vertical Food Solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX

To-Increase, global ISV, is pleased to announce a new vertical food solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX. During the past few years, To-Increase has been working closely with Microsoft, developing the food vertical strategy for Microsoft Dynamics.

2011-01-01
UTRECHT, NETHERLANDS, January 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Veenendaal, NL, 30 December 2010¯To-Increase, an award-winning, global ISV, is pleased to announce a new vertical food solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX. During the past few years, To-Increase has been working closely with Microsoft, developing the food vertical strategy for Microsoft Dynamics. Gilbert Garcia, the highly acclaimed food industry expert, has been named as the director for this new product. To-Increase plans to soft-launch at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2011 and release the solution later in the year.

"The global food market is an under-penetrated space for Microsoft Dynamics AX. By leveraging the To-Increase industry model and their distribution network, Microsoft will now have a global ISV focusing in this strategic sector," said Mr. Garcia. "The ISV solution for the food industry will allow us to sell to upper mid-markets as well as to tier one companies with headquarters and subsidiaries. By adding deeper functionality, we can narrow the gap to deliver much richer functionality out-of-the-box, reducing the need for customization and decreasing the lower cost of ownership for the customer."

To-Increase CEO Cornelis Bosch identifies the food industry as a growth area and will effectively extend the Microsoft Dynamics footprint in this vertical industry space. Mr. Bosch explains, "Our close partnership with Microsoft strengthens To-Increase's place at the forefront of industry innovation. We look forward to providing solutions for food-industry challenges. Together, with Garcia, we will deliver the definitive food-industry solution, one that not only meets but exceeds customers' needs and expectations."

This up-market solution fills a need for a food industry entry in the Microsoft Dynamics AX portfolio for process manufacturing. The initial release will deliver enhanced functionality in several key food sub-verticals, including protein(s), dairy, snacks and bakery and a variety of beverage sectors. Potential features include: Fast path order entry, template orders, route orders, nutritional analysis, trade spending, potency (dairy accounting), batch balancing, sequencing and international compliance capabilities. To-Increase plans to use a phased release strategy, building to a full suite at some time in the future. The solution is being built by the same skilled, highly dedicated global team that developed the current suites of ISV solutions for Microsoft Dynamics AX. These suites earned To-Increase Outstanding Microsoft Dynamics ISV of the Year awards two years in a row¯2009 and 2010.

"I am extremely excited to join the To-Increase team and add my many years of process experience to this initiative," said Mr. Garcia. "Our goal is to build on top of the Microsoft Dynamics AX process manufacturing solution to deliver deeper functionality into the variety of food verticals. We have all the elements to succeed, the industry knowledge and experience, the budget, the To-Increase partner network, and backing from Microsoft."

To-Increase has been working closely with its sister company, food-industry veteran, VerticalSoft. The two companies have been determining how best to port VerticalSoft's expertise with its food-industry solutions for Microsoft Dynamics NAV to the new food vertical for Microsoft Dynamics AX. With Garcia's market expertise driving the effort, the To-Increase teams vertical skills, and the company's deep collaboration with Microsoft Dynamics AX and VerticalSoft, To-Increase is positioned to create the best-of-breed vertical for the food industry.

All To-Increase products are designed to streamline business and operating processes and reduce costs that are associated with enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and supply chain management (SCM). While the company's main focus has been manufacturing, retail, warehousing & distribution and construction they are now also turning their focus to the food industry. As a vertical solution provider, To-Increase has developed and delivered innovative solutions backed by deep domain expertise to customers around the globe.
