Tony Gonzalez and All-Pro Science welcome and announce Zach Thornton, Goalkeeper for Chivas USA, as a member of TEAM APS.

2011-01-01
IRVINE, CA, January 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Tony Gonzalez, tight end for the Atlanta Falcons has announced that his all-natural supplement company, All-Pro Science Inc. (APS), has added Chivas USA goalkeeper, Zach Thornton, as one of its athlete endorsers known as TEAM APS. TEAM APS includes top athletes such as NFL greats Warren Moon, Will Shields, Nate Burleson, Devin McCourty, Naufahu Tahi, Jim Leonhard, and Jason McCourty. MLB All Star Troy Tulowitzki and LA's top yoga instructor Alanna Zabel are also among TEAM APS's notable athletes. APS athletes are not paid, but instead often approach the company themselves, to be a part of its unique and wholesome message.

Zach played collegiate soccer at Loyola-Maryland before being drafted by the New York-New Jersey Metro Stars in 1996. The Chicago Fire took Thornton in the 1997 MLS Expansion Draft where he beat out Mexican National Team goalkeeper Jorge Campos for the starting position. He remained with the Fire until returning to New York for a single season in 2008, before being traded to Chivas USA.

In 2009 Thornton won the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Award, as well as, a spot on the MLS Best IX, given to the best 11 players in Major League Soccer in any given year. This is Thornton's second appearance on the prestigious team, having also received the recognition in 1998, as well. APS is excited to have Zach add Complete 100% Grass-Fed Whey and other APS all-natural products to his diet and regime.

APS President and Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez had this to say about Thornton's collaboration with APS, "We're very excited to have an athlete of Zach's caliber come onboard. Zach has been one of the top players in the MLS for over a decade, and his appearances in the MLS XI prove that. We feel privileged to have him help showcase our wholesome message and all-natural products to the soccer world."

Paul Edalat, APS Director, commented on Thornton's arrival, "TEAM APS is built around getting the best, just like our products, we don't settle for mediocrity. Zach represents a tangible and recognizable force in the soccer world, the world's most popular game. APS' all-natural message is extended to all, regardless of sport and we look forward to Zach helping us break ground in the soccer world."

All-Pro Science, Inc. (APS) is a maker of the first and only all-natural nutritional supplements, including COMPLETE 100% Veggie Protein comprised of hemp, brown rice and pea protein, COMPLETE 100% Grass Fed Whey protein, COMPLETE Immune-D+ super-antioxidant containing acai and goji berries and grape seed, RECOVERY advanced sports formula and COMPLETE Relief, a liquid roll-on pain reliever.
