BURBANK, CA, January 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) Songwriters who experienced the frustration of being stuck when writing lyrics can now stay creative more easily with Rhyme Genie's latest update. Version 3 of the dynamic rhyming dictionary with over 9 million rhyme references introduces a unique thesaurus with 420,000 entries that matches not only the meaning of words but also the number of syllables.
"The syllable matching thesaurus opens up a new world of possibilities by suggesting alternatives for words that do not have inspiring rhymes. A word can be easily replaced without affecting the meaning or the rhythm of a lyrical line," says Peter Wier, Idolumic's founder. "This allows artists to express themselves more freely especially in conjunction with Rhyme Genie's intelligent rhyme algorithm, which finds a wealth of near rhymes by simply lowering the similarity in sound."
Other notable improvements of Rhyme Genie 3 are navigational keyboard shortcuts, a redesign of the present traditional thesaurus with 2.5 million entries as well as a greatly improved user interface of the Windows version.
With Idolumic's unlimited free update policy all of Rhyme Genie's users can install the update on existing computers with their current activation codes.
Free trials are available for Mac or PC at http://www.rhymegenie.com. The first activation code for the downloadable version is priced at $24.95. Registered users can purchase activation codes for their additional computers for $7.95 each.
Idolumic is a privately held company focusing on the creation and distribution of computer software with the goal of releasing premium products that are easy to use, easy on the eye and and easy on the wallet.
