OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, January 06, 2011 (Press-News.org) The OKC Health and Wellness Group, Ltd. is sponsoring a FREE Get Fit Get Healthy Expo beginning at 9:30 a.m. March 5, 2011 at the Downtown Community Center in Edmond.
The OKC Health and Wellness Group, Ltd. along with the Edmond Downtown Community Center is hosting a Free Fitness and Health Expo, Saturday March 5 from 9:30 am to 4 pm. The location is 28 E. Main Street in Edmond, Oklahoma in the heart of downtown just east off Broadway. We hope that everyone with a New Year's resolution to get off the couch and participate in this event to learn more about prevention through easy lifestyle choices in a fun helpful environment with friends.
There will be several 30 minute mini-lectures provided including seminars on: "Achievable Weight Loss For Men and Women" delivered by Vicki Latham, PA-C Associates of Medicine Stillwater, OK; "Cardiovascular Fitness" presented by Keith Bishop, Clinical Nutritionist, B.Sc. Pharmacy and Health Coach; "Relaxation For Pain Management" given by Dr. Gene Hawkins, Ph.D. and our keynote speaker for the day, Dr. Mary Schrick, N.D., Ph.D. Full Circle Health Clinic on "Nutrition For Health and Fitness".
These brief presentations will be followed by an "Ask the Experts" session, where interested people can get specific information about their own health concerns, book appointments or consultations in a more personal setting. The exhibitor booths will be running all day during the Expo. Booths will have free samples and give-a-ways plus information about specific products available that may help folks achieve their health and wellness goals for 2011.
