Some truly special cars will be on display in Paris soon for the Retromobile show.

PARIS, FRANCE, January 07, 2011 (Press-News.org) Car enthusiasts should be sure to get their hands on some tickets for Retromobile 2011 in February.

The exhibition will take place at Porte de Versailles and showcase all manner of vehicles for people to appreciate.

Guests at Paris hotels can expect to see plenty of vintage racing cars at the fair, in addition to more peculiar machines such as steam-powered cars from the 19th century.

And this year the organisers have revealed there will also be a range of classic motorcycles on display and an increased focus on cars from the 1970s and 1980s.

Some other highlights of the upcoming event, due to run from February 2nd to 6th, are the first ever self-propelled vehicle and the 125th birthday celebrations of Mercedes-Benz.

Opening hours at the occasion are from 10:00 local time every day except for February 2nd, when the complex opens its doors at 11:00.

The exhibition will close at 22:00 on February 2nd and 4th and at 19:00 every other day.

Tickets for the show are available for EUR13 (GBP11.20) online or at the box office, with concessions on offer for children and groups of ten people or more.

Visitors should take Line 12 or 8 of the subway to reach Porte de Versailles or Balard stations respectively.
