Beta Analytic Completes ISO 17025 Re-Accreditation
Beta Analytic Inc., the world's largest professional radiocarbon dating lab, has extended its ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation to December 27, 2012.

Beta Analytic Inc., the world's largest professional radiocarbon dating lab, has extended its ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation to December 27, 2012, as certified by the Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. Through the renewal of its accreditation, the company assures its clients of the lab's continued technical competence and quality management system."We are pleased to announced our ISO 17025 re-accreditation. This is part of our efforts to deliver high-quality radiocarbon dating results to our clients and to maintain their trust in our services. We do our best to help our clients in their researches and certifications by providing them with results that are universally accepted by virtue of our lab's ISO 17025 accreditation," says Ron Hatfield, Beta Analytic Deputy Director and Quality Manager.
The company has maintained its accreditation for these services - determination of radiocarbon age of archaeological/geological materials and groundwater by the benzene method liquid scintillation counting (LSC) and accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS), and measurement of stable isotope ratios of organic and carbonate materials. The Beta Analytic lab also provides other testing services based on radiocarbon analysis - ASTM D6866, CEN/TS 15747, CEN/TR 15591, and EN 15440.
