will compete a full season in the ASC Racing series and race in a
race-spec ASC NASCAR-style Cup car. The Race Drivers Wanted competition
is now open for registration to participants from the USA between 18 and
35 years. No race experience is required.
The competition falls into four main stages:
Stage One
A series of Talent Race Days will be organized at various locations in the
southern states of the US. A Talent Race Day typically consists of a group
of 30 people racing in groups of 10. They will start karting two sessions
of 15 minutes at a kart track. The winner of this group with the fastest
lap times will continue to stage two.
Stage Two
A series of Sports Car Days will be organized at various locations in the
southern states of the US. The groups are getting smaller and go down to
10 people. They will be racing in cars like a Porsche 911, Porsche
Boxster, Chevrolet Camaro, Nissan 350Z or other high performance cars on a
closed road course. Again you will be tested on race skills and only the
10 best finalists from all Sports Car Days will qualify for the next phase
of the competition.
Stage Three
The 10 best finalists chosen from the Sports Car Days, will go racing in a
NASCAR-style Cup car, similar to the one they will be racing when
competing in the ASC Racing series. We will head to the world famous
Infineon Raceway in California for the finals. The 10 best finalists will
have a chance to develop new driving skills in an ASC race car, while also
being judged on racing skills and mental attitude. The winner of stage
three that displays the talent, fitness and right attitude will continue
to stage four.
Stage Four
A US-based intensive driving and racing program will prepare the winner to
qualify for a regional SCCA and NASA race license. The overall champion,
with the most potential to compete on a national stage, will race a full
